PM Modi hails BRICS Bank, promises to work closely with South America

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his meeting with South American leaders in the course of BRICS summit in Brazil said that in a globalised and inter-connected world, the destinies of all countries was inter-linked.

He also said that India and South America were “bound, by shared aspirations and common challenges” and had a stake in each other's success.

At the same time he assured them that India would work closely with South American nations, and also hailed the formation of the BRICS development bank.
