Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya Notified Recruitment for 50 Teaching & Non Teaching Posts 2014

Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya, West Bengal invited applications for filling up various Teaching & non Teaching Posts. The candidates eligible for the post may apply in the prescribed format  on or before 10 July 2014.

  • Director (one each for Research, Extension Education & Farms): 03 Posts
  • Assistant Registrar: 01 Posts
  • Resident Superintendent –cum- NSS Coordinator: 01 Posts
  • Assistant Law Officer: 01 Posts
Eligibility Criteria 
Educational Qualification
(i) Ph.D. qualification in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline and published work of high quality.
(ii) Master’s Degree in the relevant subject or discipline from recognized University.
(iii) Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject or discipline from recognized University. 
Age Limit & Relaxation 
Age Limit for the candidate should be below55 years (for post 1& 4), 45 years or less (for post 2), 37 years or less (for post 3), 30 years (for post 5 & 7) and 35 years (for post 6) as on 01 January 2014 and Age Relaxation for category as per rules.
 Pay Scale
  • Pay Band is PB – 4 and the Pay Scale is of Rs. 37,400/- to Rs. 67,000/- plus Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000/- Per Month (for post 1& 4) and AGP of Rs. 9,000/- Per Month (for post 2).
  • Pay Band is PB – 3 and the Pay Scale is of Rs. 15,600/- toRs. 39,100/- plus Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 6,000/- Per Month (for post 3 & 5 to 7).
Application Fee 
Application Fee of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ ST candidates) (for post 1 &4), Rs.400/- (Rs. 200/- for SC/ ST candidates) (for post 2) and Rs. 200/- (Rs. 100/- for SC/ ST candidates) (for post 3& 5 to 7)in the form of crossed Demand Draft in favour of the “Uttar BangaKrishiViswavidyalaya” Payable at Cooch Behar, West Bengal.
Selection Procedure
The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Testand finally the Interview, which will be conducted by the administration.
How to Apply 
Interested candidates may apply in prescribed format along with the attested copies of testimonials/ certificates relating to educational qualifications, date of birth, experience, category (SC/ ST/ OBC), etc. with a recent passport size photograph should be affix on the application, a Demand Draft and self- addressed envelope affixing the postal stamp of Rs. 5/-  may be forwarded to the “Registrar (Recruitment Section), Uttar BangaKrishiViswavidyalaya, P.O.
