1. A Kerala-based Jan Sikshan Sansthan (JSS) NGO will receive the prestigious UNESCO Confucius Prize. The NGO will get the award for its literacy-linked skill development activities at a ceremony in Paris.
केरल स्थित जन शिक्षण संस्थान (जेएसएस) एनजीओ को यूनेस्को का प्रतिष्ठित कन्फ्यूशियस पुरस्कार दिया जाएगा। एनजीओ को यह पुरस्कार साक्षरता से जुड़ी कौशल विकास गतिविधियों के लिए पेरिस में दिया जाएगा।
2. India inked a preliminary pact with Greece for bilateral Air Services Agreement that proposes to allow unlimited points of call for domestic airlines in the European nation.
भारत ने द्विपक्षीय वायु सेवा समझौते के लिए यूनान के साथ शुरआती समझौता किया। इस समझौते का उद्देश्य घरेलू विमानन कंपनियों को इस यूरोपीय देश में असीमित प्वाइंट आफ कॉल यानी (गंतव्य शहरों) की अनुमति देना है।
3. The US Agency USAID announced five new partnerships in the areas of clean energy, environment and climate change to strengthen relations between India and the US.
भारत और अमेरिका ने संबंध मजबूत करने के लक्ष्य को लेकर अमेरिकी एजेंसी यूएसएड ने स्वच्छ उर्जा, पर्यावरण और जलवायु परिवर्तन के क्षेत्रों में पांच नई साझेदारी की घोषणा की।
4. Dell Inc has completed the acquisition of EMC Corporation for about USD 67 billion. With this, the world’s largest privately-controlled, integrated technology company will come into existence.
डेल इंक ने ईएमसी कॉर्प के अधिग्रहण का 67 अरब डालर का सौदा पूरा कर लिया है। इससे दुनिया की निजी रूप से नियंत्रित सबसे बड़ी प्रौद्योगिकी कंपनी अस्तित्व में आ गई है।

Senior author Dr Vishwanath Tripathi will be conferred with the UP government’s biggest literature prize Bharat Bharti Samman on the upcoming Hindi Day. वरिष्ठ साहित्यकार डॉक्टर विश्वनाथ त्रिपाठी को आगामी हिन्दी दिवस पर उत्तर प्रदेश के सबसे बड़े साहित्य पुरस्कार ‘भारत भारती सम्मान’ से नवाजा जाएगा।
6. Gujarat’s Governor O P Kohli took the additional charge of Madhya Pradesh Governor.
गुजरात के राज्यपाल ओ पी कोहली ने मध्यप्रदेश के राज्यपाल पद का अतिरिक्त प्रभार ग्रहण किया।
7. According to the ‘Platts Top 250 Global Energy Company Rankings’ 2016 Reliance Industries was ranked 8th this year, improving from 14th position a year ago and being among the top 10 of the 250 global energy businesses.
‘प्लैट्स टॉप 250 ग्लोबल एनर्जी कंपनी रैंकिंग’ 2016 के अनुसार 250 उर्जा कंपनियों के बीच रिलायंस पिछले साल के अपने 14वें स्थान से इस बार आठवें स्थान पर आ गई है।
8. Vehicle maker Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. and app-based taxi service provider Ola has signed an agreement to develop entrepreneurship and provide financial assistance to the car drivers.
वाहन बनाने वाली कंपनी महिन्द्रा एंड महिन्द्रा लिमिटेड और ऐप आधारित टैक्सी सेवा देने वाली कंपनी ओला ने कार चालकों में उद्यमिता विकसित करने तथा वित्तीय मदद मुहैया कराने के लिए करार किया।
9. Armenia’s Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan announced retirement from his post.
अर्मेनिया के प्रधानमंत्री होविक अब्रहम्यान ने अपने पद से इस्तीफा देने की घोषणा की।
