Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC), Bhubaneswar invites Online applications for selection of candidates for recruitment for recruitment Junior Engineer in Electrical Discipline for filling up 70 Vacancies on Contract Basis in OSSC 2016-17. Number of Vacancies : 70 (24 Vacancies reserved for Female, 01 for Sports Person, 03 for PWD)

Age Limit: 18 to 32 Years as on 01/01/2016. Age Relaxation - 05 Years for SEBC, SC, ST &Women candidates; 10 years for candidates belonging to PWD.

Consolidated Remuneration: Consolidated Salary of  9300 /- + Grade Pay  4200/- in the scale of pay 9300- 34800/- + Grade Pay 4200/-

Educational Qualification:

(a) Passed middle School Examination with Odia as a Language subject; or
(b) Passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as medium of examination in non-language subject; or
(c) Passed in Odia as language subject in the final examination of class VII from a school or educational institution recognised by the State Government or the Central Government, or Passed a test in Odia in Middle English School Standard conducted by the School & Mass Education Department.

Technical Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the Institution recognized by the Odisha Council of Technical Education & Vocational Training.

Exam Fee: 100/- for SEBC and UR (General) Candidates. No fee for SC/ST and Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates. The fees can be deposited either through online or off-line mode using the Treasury Portal or by the conventional mode of deposit in the Treasury.

Selection Process: Objective type of Written Test  (OMR Sheet Format)

Plan of Examination: The examination shall consist of the following stages:-

(2) Certificate in Diploma in Electrical Engineering	60 Marks

The questions of this paper will be objective type to answer. There will be 100 questions carrying 100 marks (1 mark each). The questions will be of objective type based on 2nd and 3rd year of Diploma in Electrical Engineering course of study of State Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (SCTE&VT), Odisha, Bhubaneswar. The candidates will be required to answer in OMR Format. There will be negative marking (0.25 Marks) for each wrong answer.

How to Apply: Eligible Diploma candidates apply online through OSSC Online Portal. The last date for online submission of applications is 07/09/2016 up to 11:59 PM.

After submitting online application, the candidates has to take print of the Applicant's copy and the OSSC copy. The hard copy of Online application form i.e. the OSSC copy with enclosures (Self attested photocopy of required documents and Copy of original Treasury Chalan) together called the Detailed Application Form(DAF) should be sent to SECRETARY, ODISHA STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION, BARRACK NO.L, UNIT-V, BHUBANESWAR-751054 by Registered Post / Speed Post.
