Cyber Security WRT to IT Act, 2000 and Online Matrimonial Websites

In today’s modern world people are in need of ease of use applications which can make their life easier and also profitable and secure too but use of these applications depend on how technical and intelligent the person in using these mobile apps it’s just these apps but also the matrimonial apps an there security issues .Nowadays in the present era of digital environment  all the feasible necessary situations are been handled with Mobile Application our government has also introduced the mobile application but security to these applications needs to checked through the security perspective side. Owing to the topic written in the research people are looking over the matrimonial websites for the better groom and bride match which nowadays are creating cyber security issues since some people are creating fake profile in to it and which in turn is a big risk since people are using other persons profile images and then sharing too which is a breach of privacy. In India we do not have such rules and regulation established by the government on these matrimonial websites and applications .Owing to such cases which have came across in near months there has been a validation check in to which Original ID cards of the user will be checked once he uploads but looking over the matrimonial sites i have not noticed this whether it’s been following or not, if following too who’s validating it which in turn is a big risk.

IT Act, 2000 and its Con’s

With respect to IT Act , 2000 there are no such regulations given which in turn will be helpful in matrimonial websites it security related issues except few which are related to privacy and computer system related . In one or the other way IT Act, 2000 does not suffix our cyber security requirement with respect to the individual’s rights which is a big loss to India Laws on which government and the related ministry should think over it (Communication Technology,MoSBroadcasting, Women and Children Ministry).
Default rules to be there in the IT Act:
•    Rules related to Individuals who are creating the profiles on matrimonial websites.
•    Rules related to the Matrimonial websites owner (Head of Matrimonial websites).
•    Rules related to workers of the matrimonial websites owing to the data they are using of the user who has the profile in to it to which privacy to be seen and addressed.
•    Regulation on the mobile app of the matrimonial websites.
•    Nowadays what’s app group are also been created for the matrimonial matters and marriage are taking place with it.
•    Proper validation and auditing needs to be done of matrimonial websites by the ministry concerned to it.
•    Proper validation should be done by the company the user is listing in the profile and also from the city he / she is through the local body or say background check can be done.

Effect to Individual on fraud done on these websites

• Because of the fraud in these websites people are losing their money and somehow their reputation is also damaging since if the fraud people marries she / he ran away taking the money , gold and other things too which somehow in the neighbourhood and relatives sides create a reputation damage !! 
• Issue of second marriage due first one has gone down!!
• Reputation in the working environment.
